1. Purpose and commitment
I. CURATE LTD trading as i-curate is committed to preventing modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour, debt bondage, child labour and exploitation in its operations and supply chains. We will act ethically and transparently and expect the same standards from those who work with us.
This policy supports compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and applies whether I-CURATE LTD trading as i-curate is required to publish an annual modern slavery statement.
2. Scope
This policy applies to all directors, employees, agency workers, contractors, consultants, suppliers and other business partners of I. CURATE LTD trading as i-curate.
3. Our approach
- Assess the risk of modern slavery in our business, recruitment practices and supply chain.
- Carry out proportionate due diligence before and during supplier engagement.
- Use written supplier terms requiring compliance with applicable anti-slavery laws.
- Investigate credible concerns promptly and take appropriate action.
- Provide awareness training to relevant staff, particularly those involved in recruitment and procurement.
4. Recruitment and employment
I. CURATE LTD trading as i-curate will use lawful and fair recruitment practices. We will not charge recruitment fees to workers, retain identity documents, require deposits, restrict freedom of movement, or tolerate threats, coercion or exploitative working conditions.
Workers must be free to leave employment in line with their contract and applicable law. Pay, working hours and benefits must meet applicable legal and contractual requirements.
5. Suppliers and business partners
We will seek to work with suppliers that share our commitment. Depending on risk, due diligence may include questionnaires, contractual commitments, evidence of policies or audits, and follow-up actions.
Where a concern is identified, we will work with the supplier to address it where appropriate. We may suspend or end a relationship where there is a serious breach, refusal to cooperate, or an unacceptable ongoing risk.
6. Raising concerns
Anyone who suspects a breach of this policy should report it as soon as possible to hello@i-curate.co.uk or through [whistleblowing channel, if different]. Reports will be handled sensitively and investigated fairly. I. CURATE LTD trading as i-curate will not tolerate retaliation against a person who raises a concern in good faith.
7. Responsibilities and review
The [board / senior leadership team] has overall responsibility for this policy. [Named role] is responsible for implementation, training and review. This policy will be reviewed at least annually and when there is a material change to our operations or supply chain.
